Walking Benefits

Walking has many benefits for exercise and health. Enjoy a good day outside on a rainy or sunny day to get fresh air. 30minutes a day makes a difference, especially if you are feeling under the weather. I count my job as my steps since I work as a housekeeper, and it is basically a workout.

Here are the benefits of walking:

  • strengthen your bones and muscles

  • weight loss

  • cardiovascular

  • Prevents high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, strokes, cancer and other health conditions

You will see results in 3-4 days. If you do it in a month, you will see the difference. Some people try to set a goal of steps to take. For instance, 10,000 steps is what people choose today. I do notice that if I walk outside, my body feels a little better.

What I recommend is to set a goal every day with how many steps you want to do. Also, people get watches that count their steps, and you could program them to make your move when you are being a couch potato. Do this to love your body, and it helps with mental health.
